Zero on the other hand, he was created to destroy and nothing else. So shout out to X for not going Maverick from all that mental beatdown. And X can barely help Zero fight in the war with Weil. I like to think X also felt sympathy for Copy X, because Copy X was no where near ready for the burden of a ruler. In the meantime, Copy X was taking his place as ruler of Neo Arcadia, but he was doing a terrible job at it. ![]() But there was, and X sacrificed his body to seal the Dark Elf. If Weil hadn't taken the Mother Elf and turned it into the Dark Elf and stole Zero's body, there wouldn't be no Elf Wars. And around X7, he has taken so many lives that could've been saved that he just wants to stop, or at the very least, take a break from it, and find peaceful ways to settle problems. And in X5, he witnesses Zero die AGAIN, which is just more mental beating on X. And throughout X1, he has already killed countless Mavericks, and even saw his best friend Zero die in front of him. X, feeling responsible, feels like he has to stop them, and at the same time, sort of killing his offspring. Then they all turn Maverick and are evil. X was created to have limitless potential, and was the basis of all reploids, sort of making him the father of all reploids. Kai Enjin 2y The Hedgehog I've always questioned if X or Zero had the sadder story. ![]() The thing about X6 (and every single X game besides X1, where you are forced to grab the arm parts) is that you can either tone down the difficulty by grabbing upgrades, or make it harder by not doing so, doing the former makes even Xtreme mode a breeze to go through, while the latter is only difficult because the developers didn't know how to make a balanced game, sometimes you get the easiest levels ever thought of, like Shield Sheldon, or the easiest bosses ever, like Yammark, and sometimes you get stages like Gate 2, Blaze Heatnix, or bosses like Nightmare Mother, which are too unbalanced to the point it's not fun, and trust me, I've beaten X6 on Xtreme without health upgrades nor armors more times than I can remember, and doing that really makes you understand just how bad X6's level design is, it's a broken (but fun) mess of a game, and it's nowhere near Cuphead's quality, Cuphead is well made and the difficulty comes from the right places, while in X6 they just add like a million nightmare viruses to a room and call it a day.
